Monday , PE we played sharks and minnows with our 8th grade peer buddies. Then we shot hoops. We got out spelling lists, and continued learning about whole sentences and fragments. Then we went shopping, because we didn't do it on Friday. On Tuesday in Mrs. Dee's music class Julian picked the music for our music journals. He chose The Nightmare Before Christmas. It was spooky! On Wednesday, it was The Day of Awesomeness. Instead of having PE got to do all sorts of cool activities with our Peer Buddies. On Thursday, it was Halloween. In our cooking class we made spooky spider cookies. We also made color changing slime. On Friday, it was early release day. We took our spelling test.
On Monday we do our art stations with our peer buddies. We built things with K'nex, made drawings of figurative language from Mrs. Paul's book It's Raining Cats and Dogs, or we created and decorated objects using recycled materials. On Tuesday, we went to music class, with Mrs. Dee. Carlos played the song we listed to in our journals. On Wednesday, Mr. Cooley came in he taught us about listening to others when they tell us about their feelings. On Thursday, Julian, Carlos, and I did the recycling. We also passed out the teacher shout outs. On Friday, we went to the library and took our spelling test. We also highlighted answers in our scholastic magazine.
